How to get there



Carnaval del Pueblo takes places in South London.


To get to the float parade (12-3pm)


The float procession leaves Potters Fields (London City Hall)

then files out onto the street, and begins its progress towards Burgess Park,

passing through London Bridge, Elephant & Castle and other

main streets covering a 3 mile route (see map below).

The parade starts at 12pm and reaches the park at around 3pm

where the party continuous until 9.30pm.


Nearest tube station to Potters Field (SE1): London Bridge


You are also invited to attend the preparation of the floats,

before the parade starts, at Potters Field, from 10am.
To get to the park (10am-9.30pm)
If you want to join the party at the park,

where attractions start at 10 am, you should go to Burgess Park,

in Camberwell, Chumleigh Street, London, SE5.

It has easy access from Elephant and Castle underground

and British Rail stations plus bus

numbers 36, 12, 171, 68, 68a, 45, 176, 63, 172.
